Hi, I’m Mya! I offer therapy in person in Beaverlodge and virtually across Alberta.
I provide a safe and nonjudgemental space where you are free to process, explore, and heal in a way that works for you. You’re unique, so your therapy should be too.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, holistic, and collaborative. I value authenticity and strive to build genuine therapeutic relationships with clients. I believe that all individuals have intrinsic resilience and the ability to heal, sometimes we just need some support along the way!
I support individuals navigating a variety of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, self-esteem, and relationship difficulties.
I offer individual and couples therapy, working with adults and youth 10+.
30 minute session: $100
60 minute session: $200
90 minute session: $300
I do not currently offer direct billing; however, receipts are provided which clients may self-submit to their insurance companies for reimbursement, when applicable.
I wholeheartedly believe that connection heals. You shouldn’t have to do this alone. My goal as a therapist is to meet you exactly where you are. I will strive to empower you and collaborate with you as you navigate life’s joys and challenges. Your story may involve pain, but peace, healing, and happiness can still be found. I would be honoured to support you on your healing journey.
I take an integrative and relational approach to therapy, implementing different modalities based on your individual needs and goals. I utilize trauma-informed therapy, client-centred therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and the Gottman method for couples therapy.
As a therapist, I am committed to ongoing education, so I can serve you better. In addition to my formal university education, I have completed trainings in trauma therapy, ACT, CBT, DBT, and the Gottman Method for couples therapy (level 1). I am a certified trauma professional.
You deserve a great therapist who’s a great fit for you. If you’re looking for a compassionate, genuine, and client-centred therapist who values authenticity and real connection, I invite you to reach out.
